The touchscreen—upgraded to 12.2″ with WUXGA resolution for Gen 4—unleashes new ways to work and interact, from taking tests online to grading tests on-screen. Students and teachers love the Chromebook App Hub, with resources including Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals. And school systems can add the Chrome Education Upgrade, with admin tools for managing multiple devices at scale.

Students can be hard on portable PCs. That’s why the Lenovo 500e Yoga Chromebook Gen 4 2-in-1 is tested against MIL-SPEC-810H standards. We also apply our own DuraSpec standards for school laptops, such as withstanding a controlled 76cm / 29.9″ drop onto concrete, and force-testing the top cover up to 60kg . Shock-absorbing bumpers, reinforced ports—it all helps. The display features Corning® Gorilla® Glass, and the top-loading keyboard has full-skirt, antipry keys with spill-resistance to 360 ml / 12.17oz.
