STEP UP TO BRILLIANT PC GRAPHICS

Accelerate your entire PC experience with the fast, powerful NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 1030 graphics card. Gaming. HD video and picture editing. The GT 1030's award-winning NVIDIA Pascal™ architecture, powerful graphics engine, and state-of-the-art technologies give you the performance upgrade you need to drive today’s most demanding PC applications.

THE LATEST GAMING TECHNOLOGIES

Pascal is built to meet the demands of next generation displays. It features NVIDIA GameWorks™ technologies for extremely smooth gameplay and cinematic experiences.

PERFORMANCE

Pascal-powered graphics cards give you superior performance and power efficiency, built using ultra-fast FinFET and supporting DirectX™ 12 features to deliver the fastest, smoothest, most power-efficient gaming experiences.

GEFORCE EXPERIENCE

The easiest way to optimize your games and keep your drivers up to date, the GeForce Experience application automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you'll be able to update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop.

LOW PROFILE DESIGN

Low profile design saves more spaces and can build slim or smaller system easier.

MILITARY CLASS 4 COMPONENTS

One of the deciding factors in performance is the quality of the components used. That is why MSI only uses MIL-STD-810G certified components for graphics cards. These components have proven durable enough to withstand the torturous circumstances of extreme gaming and overclocking for extended usage.

AFTERBURNER

MSI Afterburner is the world’s most recognized and widely used graphics card overclocking utility which gives you full control of your graphics cards. It also provides an incredibly detailed overview of your hardware and comes with some additional features such as customizing fan profiles, benchmarking and video recording.

Processor
CUDA
CUDA (aka Compute Unified Device Architecture) is a parallel computing platform and programming model created by NVIDIA and implemented by the graphics processing units (GPUs) that they produce. CUDA gives program developers direct access to the virtual instruction set and memory of the parallel computational elements in CUDA GPUs.
CUDA cores
384
Graphics processor family
The category to which the graphics processor (GPU) belongs e.g. Southern Islands family of Radeon processors (made by AMD), GeForce 600 (made by NVIDIA).
NVIDIA
Graphics processor
Also known as a graphics processing unit (GPU), this is a specialized electronic circuit designed to rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate the creation of images in a frame buffer intended for output to a display. GPUs are used in embedded systems, mobile phones, personal computers, workstations, and game consoles. Modern GPUs are very efficient at manipulating computer graphics.
GeForce GT 1030
Processor frequency
The clock rate is the fundamental rate in cycles per second (measured in hertz) at which a computer performs its most basic operations such as adding two numbers. There are more factors, like internal memory size, that influence a computer's actual response time.

Processor boost clock speed

Parallel processing technology support
Parallel processing technology is the simultaneous use of more than one CPU or processor core to execute a program or multiple computational threads. Ideally, parallel processing makes programs run faster because there are more engines (CPUs or Cores) running it. In practice, it is often difficult to divide a program in such a way that separate CPUs or cores can execute different portions without interfering with each other. Most computers have just one CPU, but some models have several, and multi-core processor chips are becoming the norm. There are even computers with thousands of CPUs.

2
FireStream
A stream processor produced by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to use the stream processing/GPGPU (General Purpose Graphics Processing Units) concept for heavy floating-point computations to target various industries, such as the High Performance Computing (HPC), scientific, and financial sectors. Originally developed by ATI Technologies until the company was acquired by AMD in 2006, the product line was previously branded as both ATI FireStream and AMD Stream Processor.
Memory
Discrete graphics card memory
2 GB
Graphics card memory type
The type of memory used by the video card. Often a combination of dedicated memory (Video RAM or VRAM) and dynamic system memory is used. UMA stands for Unified Memory Architecture, and is a computer memory architecture that allows the graphics processing unit to share system memory. Other abreviations: RAM = Random Access Memory, SDRAM = synchronous dynamic RAM, DDR = double-data-rate.
GDDR4
Memory bus
Hardware and software that connects the main memory to the memory controller in computer systems. Originally, general-purpose buses like VMEbus and the S-100 bus were used, but to reduce latency, modern memory buses are designed to connect directly to DRAM chips, and thus are designed by chip standards bodies such as JEDEC.
64 bit
Memory clock speed
The frequency at which the memory (e.g. RAM) runs.
2100 MHz
